Chiefs' Kelce vows to give 'everything' he's got
Briefly

Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star player, announced on his podcast that he plans to continue playing for at least the next season. Despite facing a drop in performance last year, Kelce is motivated to improve and fulfill his contract obligations with the team. He expressed his love for the game and his responsibility towards his teammates and the Kansas City community, citing a desire to leave a positive legacy at the end of his career. Kelce's dedication remains strong despite uncertainties about his future beyond the 2025 season.
Saying "the biggest thing is that I love playing the game of football," Travis Kelce confirmed he intends to play at least one more season for the Kansas City Chiefs.
"I want to give it a good run. I've got a bad taste in my mouth on how I ended the year and how well I was playing and how accountable I was for the people around me."
Kelce, 35, caught 97 passes for the Chiefs last season but had career lows in yards (823) and touchdowns (three).
Kelce said he didn't know whether the 2025 season would be his last "because I still love a lot of what I do for the city of Kansas City and the Chiefs organization."
