Cal quartet auditions at NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis
Briefly

Cal linebacker Teddye Buchanan made a significant impact at the NFL scouting combine, achieving top scores in vertical and broad jumps, raising his draft prospects. At 6-foot-2 and 233 pounds, he wasn't the fastest linebacker but stood out with a 40-inch vertical and a 10-foot broad jump. Buchanan participated alongside three other Cal prospects, including safety Craig Woodson and cornerbacks Nohl Williams and Marcus Harris. His strong performance attracted attention, including from the Super Bowl-winning Eagles, highlighting his prospects as he prepares for Cal's pro day on March 20.
No linebacker literally jumped out more at this week's NFL scouting combine than Cal's Teddye Buchanan, who had the top marks in the vertical and broad jumps to help his stock ahead of the April 24-26 draft.
While Buchanan worked out Thursday, Friday's drills featured Cal's three other prospects: safety Craig Woodson and cornerbacks Nohl Williams and Marcus Harris.
The Super Bowl-champion Eagles are among those who met with Cal's leading tackler last season (114 tackles, third in the ACC).
