San Francisco signed veteran cornerback Rock Ya-Sin, who brings five years of NFL experience to the team's secondary for the 2024 season. Ya-Sin previously played for the Colts, Raiders, and Ravens, accumulating 193 tackles, 29 passes defensed, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in his career.
Ya-Sin, who faced Deebo Samuel at the 2019 Senior Bowl, is now teammates with Samuel on the 49ers. The team is strengthening its cornerback unit with Ya-Sin, Isaac Yiadom, Charvarius Ward, Deommodore Lenoir, and Chase Lucas.
