Norovirus, the extremely contagious virus that causes stomach problems from vomiting and explosive diarrhea, is spreading through San Francisco.Wastewater data shows that levels of the virus are increasing in sewers in the city proper, while also skyrocketing in Fremont, Newark, and Pacifica.[SF Standard] On Saturday morning, a food vendor was assaulted by a suspect with a baseball bat on the 1400 block of Old Bayshore Highway, marking the second attack of its kind in San Jose this week, according to the San Jose Police Department.
