According to police, a weeks-long investigation led to the arrest of a 65-year-old woman suspected of running a brothel in downtown South San Francisco.
Detectives served a search warrant at the apartment and discovered two suspected 'sex buyers' alongside two human trafficking survivors, who were offered support services.
The suspect, a 65-year-old resident from Rowland Heights, was found managing the brothel and benefiting from its proceeds while around $10,000 in cash was seized.
The police emphasized community involvement, inviting anyone with information related to the case to contact the Criminal Interdiction Unit for assistance.
