An armed man in the Outer Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco was shot by police after threatening neighbors and firing at an SFPD drone and officers. The incident occurred when the police were called to the 1200 block of 41st Avenue. Reports indicate that the man discharged at least one shot during the encounter. Despite the seriousness of the situation, he is expected to survive his non-life-threatening injuries after being taken to the hospital. SFPD plans to hold a town hall meeting to discuss the incident.
