SF to close streets, freeway offramps on Sunday for 49ers' Super Bowl
Briefly

"Our officers will be out in force throughout the city before, during and after the game to ensure public safety," Evan Sernoffsky, a spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department, said in an emailed statement to SFGATE. "People should be free to celebrate and support their team. The SFPD will not tolerate violence, property destruction or other criminal activity."
California Highway Patrol will be closing freeway offramps, "much like they did for the NFC championship game," Officer Robert Rueca, a spokesperson for SFPD, told KCBS Radio on Friday morning.
