S.F. Performances adds two new series and another venue to its season lineup
Briefly

"We're thrilled to be able to expand our 45th season with these two new series in a venue that's new to us," San Francisco Performances President Melanie Smith told the Chronicle. "The Presidio Theatre is a wonderful performance space in a beautiful and vibrant setting, and we're looking forward to opening our season there."
The first concert, which precedes the organization's gala by a few days, is a performance by the Hot Club of San Francisco, offering an homage to jazz greats Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt on Sept. 28.
The second show scheduled for the Performances at the Presidio series features a duo program from Grammy-winning Lebanese American tenor Karim Sulayman and the eclectic Scottish guitarist Sean Shibe titled 'Broken Branches.'
