
"A San Francisco man has been formally charged with multiple felonies in connection with the sexual battery of a child at Golden Gate Park's Polo Field last month, officials confirmed. On Oct. 23 around 5:30 p.m., San Francisco police officers responded to a report of sexual battery of a minor in the bathrooms near the Polo Field. The suspect, Dominick Jeremiah Valle-Buitrago, was arrested a week later on Oct. 30 in Pleasant Hill."
"San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins' office announced on Tuesday, Nov. 4, that Valle-Buitrago, 19, has been charged with aggravated kidnapping, forcible lewd acts upon a child, assault with intent to commit a felony of a person under 18, lewd acts upon a child, kidnapping and false imprisonment. Prosecutors said they are moving to have him detained without bail because he poses a "public safety risk.""
On Oct. 23 at about 5:30 p.m., a minor was reportedly sexually battered in bathrooms near Golden Gate Park's Polo Field while a youth soccer team practiced nearby. The suspect, Dominick Jeremiah Valle-Buitrago, 19, was arrested Oct. 30 in Pleasant Hill after a parent provided "a tip that broke the case." Valle-Buitrago faces charges including aggravated kidnapping, forcible lewd acts upon a child, assault with intent to commit a felony on a person under 18, lewd acts upon a child, kidnapping and false imprisonment. Prosecutors are seeking detention without bail as a "public safety risk." SFPD expedited DNA analysis and is reviewing a possibly connected sexual-assault report. Valle-Buitrago is scheduled for arraignment in Department 19 at the Hall of Justice.
