San Francisco Muslims attacked with hate speech at Eid holiday prayer
Briefly

It took a while for me to register what was happening. That's when the fear set in. That's when the internal panic set in. I was worried about other people's safety. My own safety. We don't know this individual, explains Shaikh, who grew up in San Francisco.
So there was a purpose behind that statement. It didn't just come out of nowhere. It was researched. It was targeted. And that's made it more vile, suggests Shaikh.
When I watched that video, what worried me most is what he might do next. When somebody is that comfortable spewing hate, what stops them from escalating to violence? asks Zahra Billoo, the executive director of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of CAIR.
