Michael White lamented, 'We know his death was very preventable,' advocating for automatic emergency braking technology that could save lives like that of his son, Magnus.
Data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for 2022 showed alarming figures with 1,105 cyclist deaths marked as the highest recorded and 7,522 pedestrian deaths, the highest in 40 years.
The Magnus White Safety Act would not only expedite implementation of existing AEB regulations from NHTSA but also expand their effectiveness to include detection of different skin tones and clothing.
