A high-speed crash in the Marina District sent a pickup into La Luna Inn after the vehicle struck another occupied vehicle and then two unoccupied parked SUVs. The incident occurred around 6:24 a.m. and resulted in two people with non-life-threatening injuries being transported to the hospital, including the pickup driver and an inn occupant; the other initial driver was uninjured. Investigators believe a possible medical emergency may have occurred during the collisions. The San Francisco Fire Department stabilized the building with a heavy rescue squad and shoring while the Department of Building Inspection inspected the damage. The SFMTA diverted buses and traffic, and the SFPD is asking anyone with information to call 415-575-4444 or text TIP411 with the keyword SFPD.
