Gardai probe if murder hit on criminal Cormac Berkeley was sanctioned after victim paid off drug debt to 'The Family' gang

A 34-year-old man from Dublin's north inner city has been arrested in connection with the murder of drug dealer Cormac Berkeley, nearly two years after the incident.

The suspect is suspected of playing a 'key logistical role' in the murder but was not the gunman, marking the first arrest in the ongoing investigation.
