The inaugural SoSF music festival takes place at Pier 80 this Pride Weekend, headlined by artists Kehlani, Kim Petras, and Tinashe. Featuring both indoor and outdoor elements, the festival includes a silent disco, performances from the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, and an all-Black drag show. Organizers emphasize the festival's intent to honor San Francisco's historical commitment to LGBTQ+ rights while also benefiting the LYRIC Center for LGBTQ+ Youth. Scheduled for June 28, the event fills a gap in Pride celebrations, as recent years have seen fewer defining events on this date.
