Bay Area man arrested for assaulting roommate with a scateboard

An Inverness resident was arrested for allegedly attacking his roommate with a skateboard and a large flashlight following an argument, leading to minor injuries.
The sheriff's office indicated that the incident took place on Laurel View Way, and the suspect faces serious charges including assault with a deadly weapon.
According to Marin County sheriff's Sgt. Adam Schermerhorn, the victim in the incident sustained bruising and minor scrapes as a result of the confrontation.
Anthony Michael Taravella, 32, was booked into Marin County Jail, with his bail set at $50,000 after the allegations of the violent altercation.
