Another Planet Entertainment has committed to hosting three free concerts this year, with Portugal.The Man as the second act in Civic Center, scheduled for September 20.
The company successfully held a previous concert on June 1 featuring Skrillex and Fred Again, boasting 25,000 attendees while ensuring no noise complaints were filed.
Portugal.The Man, known for their Grammy-winning hit 'Feel It Still,' originated in Alaska and has a history of successful performances, including Outside Lands in 2018.
The concerts are part of Another Planet's efforts to secure more performance opportunities in the city, with the SF Board of Supervisors approving their proposals last summer.
