
"Four people were found dead on Wednesday in a home located in San Francisco's Westwood Highlands neighborhood, officials said. Officers arrived at the home on the 900 block of Monterey Boulevard, approximately 1 mile from the City College of San Francisco, for a welfare check just before 1:30 p.m., according to a news release from the San Francisco Police Department. Fire crews also arrived on the scene, a spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department told SFGATE, and assessed the people inside the home."
"All four people were declared dead the scene, the fire department said. Officials at the scene told the San Francisco Chronicle that the deceased included two adults and two children. (The Chronicle and SFGATE are both owned by Hearst but have separate newsrooms.) As of 3:30 p.m., police are calling the incident "suspicious deaths," and the department's homicide division is leading the investigation, according to the news release."
