"At approximately 4:56 p.m., San Francisco police officers arrived at the scene and found three men suffering from apparent stab wounds, according to a statement from the police department. Officers rendered aid until paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the subjects to the hospital. Initial reports indicated one suspect had been arrested, but in today's statement, the police department confirmed two additional arrests later on Saturday."

"Saturday's attack took place on the debut of a city-funded pilot seeking to activate the BART plazas with vendors and family activities. Just a few hours earlier, Mayor Daniel Lurie had visited the plazas and talked to vendors, city workers and ambassadors regarding a pilot pop-up that included seven vendors and family activities such as face painting and a piñata-making workshop at both 16th Street plazas."
