Sepultura announced their final performance on November 7 at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in São Paulo, Brazil. The show will include support from Metal Allegiance, Krisiun, and Sacred Reich, with additional acts to be announced. Tickets will go on sale May 30 at 10 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster. The event is planned as a celebration of Sepultura’s full history, with the venue chosen for its significance after a 1991 landmark performance to 30,000 fans. Founding members Jean Dolabella and Jairo Guedz will join onstage, along with other musicians connected to the band’s 40-plus year history. Max and Iggor Cavalera declined an invitation to reunite. The band is finishing a final North American tour on May 29 before heading to Europe for summer dates.
