Valentino Cash Amil, 30, has been charged with murder and felony hit-and-run after allegedly running over a 74-year-old man in SoMa. The incident occurred near Mission Street and South Van Ness, captured in a graphic video. Amil reportedly blocked the sidewalk while merging into traffic, leading to an exchange with the victim. After the victim spilled liquid on Amil's car, he accelerated, knocking the victim onto the hood and then running over him. The victim died at the scene, and Amil was apprehended shortly after.
