The first home designed and built by a famous Bay Area architect is for sale
Briefly

The home offers 2,555 square feet with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Its shingled exterior is classic Morgan, and inside, original features abound.
Since Morgan built it, 2816 Derby St. has had only three owners, all of them architects. Morgan herself was the first owner, and in 1908, this was the first home she built after establishing her own practice.
Morgan, one of the Bay Area's (if not the world's) most highly regarded architects, was a trailblazer in her field. The first woman to receive an architect's license in the state of California.
