A new survey by Age of Majority found that 71% of baby boomers prioritize food quality when deciding to move to a new community, highlighting their desire for independence.
"Boomers are the first instant-gratification aging generation. They expect to be able to enjoy their version of great food anywhere, anytime," says Joe Cuticelli.
Margaret and Ted Ruenitz avoided senior facilities with institutional food, preferring communities where culinary experiences match their adventurous palates gained through travel.
