Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill stated that her cyber team discovered the origin of the messages can be linked to an anonymous web address in Poland, and the FBI is investigating the issue.
In a collective response, San Francisco Mayor-elect Daniel Lurie expressed solidarity with community leaders and denounced the offensive messages while also promising a thorough investigation into these hate-filled communications.
San Francisco Unified School District emphasized that hate will not be tolerated in their community, providing wellness support to students affected by the racist messages and cooperating with law enforcement.
