The San Francisco Democratic Party has accused mayoral candidate Mark Farrell of misusing its logo on a Proposition D mailer sent out to voters last week.
Farrell's campaign disagreed with the accusation, stating that the logo on the mailer clearly indicates the Party endorsed Yes on D, not Farrell.
Nancy Tung, the chair of the party's executive committee, emphasized that the inclusion of their logo 'dilutes the value of our endorsement,' arguing it misleads voters.
As a member of the Democratic County Central Committee, Farrell's campaign manager asserted that the party should focus on substantive changes instead of political mud-slinging.
