Housing authority police officer and suspect wounded in Oakland shootout

One OHA officer and the suspect were both wounded and are in stable condition at a hospital. According to an Oakland Police Department press release, housing authority officers pulled someone over at 12:45 a.m. on the 900 block of 85th Ave.
Police allege that the person the officers pulled over was armed and shot one of the OHA officers.
Invesetigators with the Oakland Police Department's criminal investigations division are investigating the shooting and will recommend potential charges to the district attorney.
One OHA officer was shot and wounded. The person the police stopped was also hit by gunfire and wounded.
