A recent poll commissioned by Daniel Lurie's campaign shows him leading the San Francisco mayoral race with 26% of first choice votes, narrowly ahead of incumbent London Breed.
The survey indicates that when second choice votes are factored in, Lurie has a decisive victory over Breed, besting her 55% to 45% in the potential runoff.
Conducted with 600 interviewees, the poll's results are comparable to a recent San Francisco Chronicle poll, suggesting a competitive race ahead of Election Day.
The margin of error in Lurie’s polling results is 4%, and they were gathered through online and phone interviews conducted just before the end of October.
