'Curse of the Mayor' strikes in Dublin as Mansion House proves to be unlucky

His address on the ballot was "The Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2".

Lord Mayor of Dublin, Daithí de Róiste, lost his seat in the city's Ballyfermot-Drimnagh ward.

This year's local elections saw the 'curse of the mayor' striking not only Daithí de Róiste but other mayors too.
