Caltrain is actively seeking six riders to join its Bicycle & Active Transportation Advisory Committee, aiming to address the pressing bike space issues on its trains.
The BATAC serves as a primary venue to advocate for customers utilizing active transportation methods, including bicycles, scooters, and walking, to access the Caltrain system.
Openings are available for members of the public and bicycle advocacy representatives from San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties, highlighting a community-oriented approach.
The committee, composed of nine volunteers from the three counties, meets every other month to discuss active transportation planning and policy development.
