The Holiday Train, decorated with more than 70,000 glittering lights, returns to bring good tidings and cheer, encouraging families to donate toys or books to local children in need.
Caltrain partners with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program and The Salvation Army for the annual toy drive, helping brighten the holiday season for struggling families.
At each 20-minute stop, families can sing with onboard carolers, enjoy free entertainment, and meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and other festive characters while donating new, unwrapped gifts.
In addition to accepting gifts, Holiday Train ambassadors will be present at station stops to direct attendees to donation bins and offer special giveaways during the festive event.
