A 15-year-old student shot a teacher at Hill Country college preparatory high school in Texas before fatally shooting himself. The incident occurred in the morning, and no other injuries were reported. The wounded teacher was hospitalized, and the sheriff stated that the investigation is focused on the relationship between the student and teacher, as well as how the firearm was obtained. The school was placed on lockdown, and students were bused to a nearby middle school for reunification with parents. Classes were canceled for the following day, but counselors were made available.
