Christopher and Heather Spangler were arraigned on 13 charges, including child endangerment and illegal firearm possession. An investigation began after a tip about a student bringing a handgun to school. Police found five firearms, four of which were loaded, in their home. None of the residents had valid firearm identification cards. The couple was released on personal recognizance with conditions to surrender their firearms. School officials increased security measures and reviewed safety protocols in response to the incident.
