Some students at FSU shooting are Parkland massacre survivors, victim's dad says: 'America is broken'
Briefly

Fred Guttenberg, whose daughter was killed in the 2018 Parkland school shooting, expressed his despair over the repeated tragedies of gun violence. He noted that several of his daughter's friends, who survived the Parkland shooting, were present during the recent shooting at Florida State University (FSU). Guttenberg highlighted the ongoing impact of such violence, criticizing the reluctance of some to address gun control measures, and relayed the tragic reality that children still face the threat of gun violence in educational environments.
America is broken. My daughter Jaime was murdered in the Parkland school shooting. Many of her friends who were lucky enough to survive that shooting went on to attend FSU.
Sadly, because of the many people who refuse to do the right things about reducing gun violence, I am not surprised by what happened today.
