Now, local authorities have shed new light on the heinous conditions inside the property, releasing several images that were taken in the wake of the fire.
Her 32-year-old stepson, who has not been named, was found by firefighters on Feb. 17 'curled up in a little ball' under the kitchen table.
Several doors in the home were found to be fitted with locks on the outside, indicating extreme measures were taken to confine the victim.
