The accident, which occurred just a mile from her workplace, involved another driver, Samantha Farris, who was allegedly intoxicated. Authorities arrested Farris on multiple charges, including felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter, after determining she had turned left in front of Fierro's vehicle, causing the fatal collision.
We will never hear her abundant 'I love You's' through the phone, and will never feel her loving arms around us ever again.

Witnesses told police that Farris was possibly drinking alcohol at a business nearby just before the collision.
