Funwayo Mbilini Nyawo, 37, was sentenced to 32 months in prison for making violent threats on social media. He pleaded guilty to 13 counts of interstate transmission of threatening communications and one count of stalking. Between July and October 2024, Nyawo posted threats targeting public officials, children, and local emergency responders. His posts included violent imagery and threats of killings, bombings, and kidnappings, specifically mentioning children of police officers and families of first responders.
