He was also ordered to pay $115,000 in restitution to the victims, highlighting the lasting impact of his offenses.
Many of the videos and images that Pilar downloaded showed minors under the age of 12 engaged in sadistic behavior, and sexual abuse of an infant and toddler.
His actions caused direct and significant harm to the victims in this case, and his offense is aggravated by the fact that he was teaching young children at the time.
