A San Mateo man, Craig Miceli, has been charged with multiple felonies for firing at an SUV carrying high school boys who vandalized his home. The boys, reportedly bullying his daughter, initially covered Miceli's porch in oil and later egged his house. Enraged after having to clean up, Miceli fired two shots at their vehicle. He was discovered to possess an illegal automatic rifle and has been charged with assault, shooting at an occupied vehicle, and possession of an assault weapon. A protective order has been issued against him, and he has pleaded not guilty.
Miceli emotionally stated that the relentless bullying faced by his daughter at Hillsdale High School fueled his rage towards the teenagers who vandalized their home.
In a fit of anger, Miceli retaliated against the boys who targeted his daughter by firing shots, although he later disposed of the weapon.
