A Black History Month celebration will take place in Thrive City on Sunday, February 1. The afternoon includes live performances by Queen Iminah featuring AAFE Queens Rising, The Prospect Band, and Veotis Latchinson. The Prospect Band combines hip hop, jazz fusion, soul, and R&B and includes Grammy winners among its young lineup. Veotis Latchinson is a songwriter, producer, and vocalist influenced by hip hop, R&B, soul, and jazz. Attendees can enjoy an arts and craft station and culinary offerings from Jamerikan Jerk. Parking is available at the Chase Center Garage and space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
