Samantha DuVall Bechtel, now managing partner of DuVall Family Hospitality Group, is preparing to reopen Izzy's Steaks & Chops in San Francisco after a major remodel. The restaurant has been closed since October 2023 for renovations that enhance its ambiance, including a refurbished bar and private dining booths. The new menu will retain classic dishes while incorporating fine dining elements introduced by executive chef Daniel Lucero. The restaurant's legacy of hospitality, emphasized by DuVall's father, continues to inspire its operation post-renovation.
A core value my father instilled was to make every guest feel part of the Izzy's family, and we're committed to carrying that tradition forward.
Once the curtains lift, guests will set foot inside the two-story, 4,800-square-foot space and find a more open dining area.
