""Over the course of the past 17 years, we've served somewhere in a neighborhood of nine million oysters.""
Waterbar operates on the San Francisco waterfront with views of the Bay Bridge and the Embarcadero. The restaurant and sister Epic Steak have been in place for about 18 years and employ roughly 250 people. The operation prioritizes guest satisfaction through seafood offerings, especially oysters and whole Dorade from the grill. The kitchen has served approximately nine million oysters over 17 years. Oysters are noted for cleaning water and supporting other marine life. The restaurant donates a nickel from every oyster sold to organizations including the Watershed Project, the Marine Mammal Center, Make-A-Wish, and Edible Schoolyard.
