Widespread Russian air strikes on Sunday resulted in at least eight casualties across Ukraine, being described by local officials as one of the largest air attacks of the war so far.
The Russian Defense Ministry asserted that the strikes aimed at facilities supporting Ukraine's defense industry, while local reports confirmed civilian deaths in Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Lviv.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian forces had managed to intercept approximately 140 out of 210 missiles and drones launched by Russian forces during the attack.
