Ukraine has developed four upgraded versions of the Chinese Mavic drone to conduct reconnaissance missions and resist electronic warfare. This initiative follows China's limitation on drone component exports and significant drone loss rates in the conflict. The new drones, supported by the Brave1 program, comply with NATO standards and are already in use by Ukrainian troops. The upgrades allow for improved situational awareness, facilitating better military planning and operational efficiency despite challenges faced in sourcing traditional components.
These drones significantly enhance the situational awareness of our military, enabling them to plan more effectively and conduct operations more efficiently.
Unlike their Chinese counterparts, the Ukrainian variants are equipped with communication systems that make them resistant to Russia's electronic warfare.
