North Korea's continuous supply of advanced short-range ballistic missiles to Russia defies international sanctions aimed at curtailing Pyongyang's weapon development and Moscow's imports.
Researchers from Conflict Armament Research examined remnants of four Hwasong-11 missiles in Kyiv, discovering recent production markings, signifying their use in attacks this year.
The Hwasong-11 missile, resembling the Russian Iskander, has a range of about 430 miles and can be equipped with either nuclear or conventional warheads.
Despite prior warnings from the White House about North Korea's missile provisions to Russia, the latest shipments had not been reported until this analysis was released.
