Tara Dower set a new overall supported fastest known time (FKT) on the Appalachian Trail, averaging just under 54 miles a day in an incredible 40 days, 18 hours, and 6 minutes.
Dower's achievement has not only broken the former women's record but also surpassed the men's record, showcasing her exceptional endurance and strength as an ultrarunner.
