Matt Trappe and the Art of Running
Briefly

Matt Trappe transitioned from being a soccer player to discovering a passion for trail running in his late 20s while working in marketing. He leveraged his photography hobby into a business as Instagram grew, leading to his relocation to Denver. At the 2012 Hardrock 100, he began capturing running through his lens. For Trappe, running functions as a vital creative outlet, fostering mental clarity and idea generation. His brand, Auteur Sportif, merges running and art, emphasizing storytelling within the ultrarunning community.
