Russ Cook, nicknamed Hardest Geezer, is to run to Germany to support England at Euro 2024. The 27-year-old finished his previous challenge in Tunisia after 352 days, despite complications, raising over $1.27m for charity.
Mr Cook set off from Wembley Stadium for his 352-mile journey to Veltins Arena in Germany. He plans to run from city to city to follow England's matches in the tournament.
He aims to support Gareth Southgate and the England team, urging people to join him on parts of the journey. Mr Cook is fundraising for The Running Charity, with support from sponsors Sports Direct and Score Draw.
After battling mental health, gambling, and drinking issues, Mr Cook hopes to live with no regrets. His previous challenge ran over 10,000 miles from South Africa to Tunisia, exceeding his initial marathon goal.
