Joyce Muthoni Njeru of Kenya dominated the women's race, starting with an early lead she maintained to finish nearly three minutes ahead of her closest competitor.
In the men's race, Elhousine Elazzaoui and Patrick Kipngeno broke away from the pack and fought hard to the finish, with Elazzaoui sprinting ahead to secure the victory.
