Ellen van Dijk, who previously held the title for four consecutive years, finished with a solid silver medal but was 44 seconds behind Kopecky’s time.
This win adds to Belgium's success at the Championships, with Alec Segaert also securing a gold medal earlier in the day, demonstrating the nation's cycling prowess.
