Italy has launched a digital nomad visa, effective from April 4, for non-EU citizens to reside and work in the country. To qualify, applicants must meet income, health insurance, accommodation, digital nomad experience, and criminal record criteria.
Eligible digital nomads can bring family members, apply for a residence permit within eight days of arrival, and must have their application approved at an Italian consulate in their country of residence.
