California's Workplace Violence Prevention Plan Deadline is in Less Than Two Weeks
Briefly

California employers must have a written Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, train employees on hazard identification, conduct workplace hazard inspections, and maintain an incident log for workplace violence incidents by July 1, 2024.
Employers in specific categories such as those with less than 10 employees, teleworking employees, health care facilities, law enforcement, and facilities operated by the Department of Corrections are exempt from these requirements.
There is no grace period for compliance, so employers need to have their Workplace Violence Prevention Plan in place and begin training employees before July 1, 2024.
